Own indie content creation across articles, interviews, podcasts, and streams with a strong show presence and editor-backed review process.

  • Content ownership: lead articles, interviews, podcasts and streams that feed a consistent indie games narrative.
  • Event and campaign execution: drive showcases, jams, and live events to spotlight developers and their games.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging articles, conduct interviews, recording podcasts, hosting streams, and working on video and feature projects.
  • Participate in showcases and events that highlight indie games and their developers.
  • Collaborate with editors and team members to produce content for various formats (articles, podcasts, streams, showcases).
  • Contribute to events and campaigns such as games jams and showcases that the organization hosts.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Passion for indie games and the gaming industry
  • Experience in content creation (writing articles, conducting interviews, recording podcasts, hosting streams, etc.)
  • Knowledge of different game genres, platforms, and release years
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with social media platforms and community engagement
  • Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization
  • Not accepting AI-generated content
