We seek an organized, detailed, and driven individual to join our experienced team of marketing professionals. This person is expected to be a self-starter and will be responsible for implementing visually appealing and highly functional websites using WordPress and various platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, develop custom themes, plugins, and features, and ensure the overall success of web projects. This team member will need to be able to hit the ground running with creative and strategic knowledge of web solutions, working independently and with our team. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability, accessibility, and visual design for a great user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes, templates, and plugins with responsive web design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across various devices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
• Ensure efficient and effective content organization and navigation.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices. Debug and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work closely with designers and other developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand client requirements and timelines.
• Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks for WordPress sites.

Minimum Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, showcasing a strong portfolio and focus on UI/UX
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Knowledge of MySQL and database management.
• Familiarity with web standards, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The starting salary for this role is $40,000 annually; however, the final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
