Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The VP, Global Marketing is responsible for building and leading a team while overseeing upstream and downstream responsibilities for all Interventional Technologies franchises including (A) Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart and Large Bore Closure Franchise - OptoWire, SavvyWire, PerQseal products and ( B) Interventional Technologies: Vascular Closure and Esophageal cooling segments - Vascade, MVP and Enso products.
  • Upstream Responsibilities: Serve as the upstream global marketing leader and partner with a broad group of cross-functional colleagues to define and implement a marketing strategy to ensure commercial success.
  • - Market TAM and share for US, EMEA, Japan
  • - Global new product development, indication expansion and approval timelines
  • - Competitive threats
  • - 5-year strategic planning
  • - Coordination with Clinical Affairs on clinical evidence needs
  • Downstream Responsibilities: Serve as the downstream global marketing leader and partner with a broad group of cross-functional colleagues to define and implement a marketing strategy to ensure commercial success.
  • - PerQseal launch
  • - Marketing activities to achieve AOP revenue and spend (promotions, events, conferences, etc.)
  • - KOL management / podium presence in coordination with Clinical Affairs
  • - Post approval study coordination with Clinical Affairs (calcification @ PQS, valve in valve for SW?)
  • - Physician and Fellows training
  • - Pricing strategy, bundles
  • - Medical education of physicians and staff
  • Essential Duties
  • The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
  • Responsibilities/Essential Duties
  • - Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy that supports the launch and growth of new products.
  • - Lead the new product planning process, including market research, competitive analysis, and identification of unmet customer needs onduct and identify unmet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - B.S. or B.A.
  • Master's Degree
  • MBA or additional education in life sciences discipline preferred
  • 10 + years Marketing experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or other areas of life sciences, with a proven record of high performance and consistent results
  • Previous IVT experience in a marketing, sales and product management role strongly preferred.
  • Life sciences’ product in-line marketing and launch/product commercialization experience are required
  • Must have strong social skills, maturity, and be capable of presenting ideas and concepts to a diverse range of individuals
  • Excellence in additional professional competencies including collaborative and cross functional problem solving and communications, innovative thinking, sense of urgency, and a passion for helping patients and their communities are critical
  • Occasional 20% travel
