Job Summary

Own the central Commerce Media agenda for cross-retailer initiatives, aligning strategy, planning, and education with the client and Mars United Commerce to drive growth.

  • Own cross-retailer strategy and deliverables, acting as the single point of contact for the Digital Commerce team.
  • Drive revenue growth and new business through opportunity identification and JBP negotiations with retail media partners.
  • Demonstrate financial discipline and provide data-driven recommendations to improve profitability and long-term planning.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Own the client’s central Digital Commerce team on cross-retailer Commerce Media requests, updates, reports, and education. - Provide ongoing thought leadership to influence client and Mars United Commerce processes. - Act as a change agent for internal and external teams to lift performance. - Collaborate with retailer Commerce Media and broader media buying teams to centralize strategy, planning, and JBP negotiations; identify cross-retailer learnings and standardize deliverables. - Liaise with the client’s National Media team and agency to strengthen Above the Line and Retail Media connectivity and reduce duplication. - Grow the business by spotting opportunities for incremental revenue or new client acquisition. - Manage client budgets for profitability and contribute to department bonuses. - Demonstrate financial acumen across income statements, balance sheets, and sales reports. - Develop the annual business plan and long-term growth strategy for the assigned business. Requirements - Commerce Media strategy experience in an agency, Retail Media Network, or CPG brand. - Deep understanding of Joint Business Planning, Top to Tops, and Channel and Category Strategies. - Existing relationships with key Retail Media Networks and third-party Commerce Media partners. - Collaborative approach to teamwork and problem solving. - Passionate and dissatisfied with the status quo – always thinking of ways to improve and grow. - Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences, including senior clients. - Confident presenter and clear, persuasive communicator of complex data/details. - Strategic thinker in the development of Shopper Marketing programs and management of day-to-day business. - Sound decision making ability rooted in agency, client, and industry knowledge. - Adept at analyzing results, synthesizing data, drawing out insights & implications, and developing insightful and actionable recommendations.
