Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Orchestrate national tour announcements and comprehensive ticket sales strategies in partnership with Live Nation Comedy promoters, ticketing, and artist management.
  • Media & Digital Strategy: Collaborate with central digital teams to tailor media plans and budgets based on fan behavior and audience insights specific to the comedy genre.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Coordinate with CRM teams to develop and deploy high-impact email marketing strategies and fan retention programs.
  • Regional Integration: Lead communication with internal regional marketing teams to synchronize localized assets and promotional opportunities across all tour stops.
  • Budget Oversight: Allocate, monitor, and adjust multi-market advertising budgets to maximize ROI and respond to real-time sales data.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for approvals between artist teams and internal departments, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on revisions and campaign pivots.
  • Sales Monitoring: Closely track daily ticket sales and proactively adapt marketing efforts to address low-performing markets or capitalize on high-demand sell-outs.
  • Publicity & Grassroots: Coordinate pre-show and day-of-show press with independent publicists and manage localized grassroots/street team efforts through regional contacts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in live entertainment, specifically within comedy, touring, or agency environments
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to present complex marketing concepts to high-level artist management and stay calm under the pressure of tour cycles
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of G-Suite/Microsoft Office; experience with digital asset management systems and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana)
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to collect information, define problems, and implement innovative solutions based on sales data and market trends
  • Project Management: Outstanding organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
