Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The role requires the subject matter expert for Switching, Wireless, and Network operations with ongoing collaboration with R&D, Product Management, Marketing and Sales.
  • Provide technical direction and validation on campaign assets with PM/PMM and deliver competitive assessments based on research or hands-on experience.
  • Answer technical field questions for Sales via email and collaboration tools, present the product via calls, Executive Briefing Center, events, or on-site, and build/demo systems to promote adoption.
  • Part of a Fortinet expert group evangelizing products through assets like videos, white papers, webinars, and related activities.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3-5 years technical industry background in a TME, SE/CSE, Support or QA role.
  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Competitive Content/Collateral
  • Technical expertise in LAN Edge solutions for Enterprise, branch and campus networks
  • Expert and real-world hands-on knowledge in Switches, Wireless Access Points, Firewalls, NAC, and Network Monitoring
  • Extensive hands-on experience with designing and maintaining networks involving switching and wireless products
  • Experience delivering webinars and live demos
  • A university degree is preferred, but not mandated; real-world customer networks experience can substitute
