  • Team Management and Delegation: Oversee Digital Planner(s) & Digital Assistant(s) day-to-day, effectively delegating tasks to manage bandwidth and ensure team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects & opportunities to learn new skills Provide ongoing education and training on best practices, media principles, and industry at large to junior team Develop junior team members to be media professionals, providing constant feedback to contribute to individual growth plans and career goals Foster a team culture where junior members contribute constructively to team dynamics and uphold a positive, collaborative work environment Manage performance reviews with guidance from Associate Director of Digital Planners & Digital Assistants: sharing strengths and weaknesses, providing clear next steps for growth, and suggesting training opportunities Have foresight and understanding of projects & campaign planning timelines at large to ensure deadlines are being met for all digital-related deliverables, whether client facing (i.e. Exhibitor Comp Lists, Digital Consideration Sets, etc.) or otherwise (i.e. Digital RFPs, Trafficking Instructions, etc.) Proactively manage up by keeping Associate Director & Director informed of relevant updates, status of deliverables, and team needs with clear articulation of potential setbacks or challenges, while providing thoughtful recommendations and solutions to support both team & client goals
  • Reporting & Analysis: Act as primary resource for Planners & Assistants as they work through optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities across all digital direct partners Encourage junior team members to draw thoughtful, data-based conclusions that illustrates the ‘why’ behind performance, mapping back to digital strategy and building on week-over-week insights Spearhead QA of insights written by Planners/Assistants; Responsible for accurate delivery of all digital direct partner data and insights provided to the client by the Analytics team Responsible for reviewing & providing feedback on digital direct PCA learnings as written by the Analytics team; Ensure relevant findings are applied to future campaign strategies Collaborate with Analytics team on maintenance of account level processes & documents (i.e. Naming Conventions, establishing Benchmarks, etc.) Collaborate with Analytics team to identify campaign Learning Agenda opportunities based on tactical plan recommendations.
  • Campaign Management & Execution: Provide final sign-off on creative spec & VAC inputs to ensure all digital placements are represented and all spec requirements are accurately reflected in Monday.com Ensure proper protocol for trafficking and site tagging is followed by junior team members Ensure that all execution and campaign launch status information is compiled in a timely fashion; Provide final sign-off screenshot deck for proof of launch Act as resource for junior team members on weekly campaign reconciliation, billing, pacing, campaign validation and brand safety Spearhead QA of digital media plan details input by Planners at initial build and for all packet revisions. Ensure all necessary ad serving & tech fee calculations are accurately reflected and all plan details are consistent across all digital & social tabs When there is client feedback to address, delegate appropriately within the shared document to ensure responses are collected across all digital teams (i.e. Direct, Programmatic, Search, Social, etc.); Ensure consistency across responses & that all are written in client-ready format Provide final QA of digital estimates (both planned amounts & actualized against invoices) input into Prisma & all other internal tracking documents for client billing
  • Media Negotiating & Buying: Initiate and guide team collaboration with key partners during planning process, including both external partners and internal activation teams (i.e. Search, Social, Programmatic) Oversee Planners’ management of RFP creation and review of partners/site responses. Ensure specific asks discussed in ideation phase are being included in individual partner RFPs & act as point of escalation for partner negotiations Spearhead collaboration with other Horizon Media teams (i.e. Business Solutions, Video Investment, Programmatic, etc.) to identify opportunities for 360 partnerships, incorporate relevant extensions & ensure Upfront partner spend goals are being met Provide guidance and act as a resource for Planners & Assistants as they work through all phases of the planning process Provide final sign-off on insertion orders & digital estimates within internal systems tool (Prisma) and ensure accuracy of plan details & any custom T&C’s (as necessary)
  • Digital Media Strategy: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Theatrical category & build digital media campaigns to effectively reach Lionsgate’s specific business goals Incorporate data from Horizon Media’s suite of planning, evaluation and buying tools for application/analysis into competitive landscape, digital consideration set & plan development Participate in team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development, offering out-of-the-box & innovative thinking with the intention of bringing great ideas to life Lead guidance of Exhibitor Comp Lists & Digital Consideration Sets, ensuring necessary research is done (i.e. rankers are pulled) to properly inform recommendations Lead team alongside Associate Director and Director in creation of plan recommendation materials for client presentations, ensuring all digital tactical details are accurately represented within the presentation Be a Subject Matter Expert in all things digital planning & activation to effectively act as a trusted resource for junior team members Develop and articulate media strategies as it pertains to digital planning and buying. Ensure that all digital teams (Direct, Programmatic, Social, Search) are building tactical plans that ladder up to overall campaign strategy Monitor marketplace trends, tools, opportunities and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding digital media account projects Primary experience in Digital Media, with high level understanding of planning, buying and activation Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts Passion for technology, with a strong understanding of the inner-workings of Digital platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), digital media research/reporting resources Prior experience in a Client contact and leadership role Ability to deliver quality recommendations with confidence in person or over the phone to key clients Strong leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, with ability to manage a team of 1-2 people Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and “sell through” ideas both internally and to Clients Certificates, licenses and registrations No requirements for certificates, licenses and registrations Physical Activity and Work Environment No requirements for physical activity and work environment
