Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment & Opportunity Development – Partner with Directors of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships to analyze institutional priorities and develop strategic positioning for prospective and existing client opportunities.
  • Support early-stage opportunity development by identifying key messaging themes that align Collegiate Hospitality capabilities with client strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Growth leadership to strengthen Proposal strategies supporting both new business development and contract retention initiatives.
  • Strategic Narrative Development – Develop and refine Proposal narratives that communicate Collegiate Hospitality’s value proposition in a clear and differentiated manner.
  • Align storytelling across proposals, executive summaries, and client presentations to ensure consistency with strategic positioning.
  • Translate complex operational and service offerings into clear, compelling messaging for institutional decision-makers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Finance, and other subject matter experts to integrate functional expertise into Proposal messaging and client narratives.
  • Guide contributors on messaging direction and narrative alignment to ensure cohesive positioning across materials.
  • Support collaboration between Growth leadership and internal teams to strengthen overall Proposal effectiveness.
  • Competitive & Market Insight – Monitor competitor positioning and industry trends to identify opportunities to strengthen Collegiate Hospitality’s differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Provide insights to Growth leadership regarding messaging strategies that help address client priorities and market challenges.
  • Proposal & Presentation Support – Lead the development and management of pursuit timelines, proactively communicating progress, reinforcing accountability to key milestones, and ensuring timely delivery of work aligned with established response and turnaround expectations.
  • Own narrative integrity across RFP responses by reviewing and refining content to ensure strategic alignment, consistent voice, and cohesive messaging across multiple authors and functional contributors.
  • Assist in shaping executive-level content for finalist presentations and client engagements.
  • Ensure Proposal messaging remains aligned with Collegiate Hospitality brand standards and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, business development support, pursuit strategy, or strategic communications.
  • Experience collaborating with sales or growth teams in support of complex service or consulting solutions.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear messaging.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Higher education, hospitality, or multi-site services industry experience preferred.
