Job Summary

PitchBook events owner: lead the end-to-end conference and partnership program for pipeline impact, brand, and product awareness.

  • Event & Partnership Strategy: own planning, vendor negotiations, budgets, and on-site execution to hit lead and pipeline goals.
  • Brand & Collaboration: ensure PitchBook messaging, design and partner programs across events and pre/post activities.
  • Cross-Functional & Measurement: align Sales/CS staffing, monitor budgets, and report event impact and ROI.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute conference and partnership strategy to drive lead generation, pipeline velocity, and strengthen brand position.
  • Oversee vendor relationships for assigned events, including negotiation, budgeting, and on-site execution.
  • Coordinate with current and potential partners to drive mutual benefit for both parties while working with internal teams to fulfill partnership agreements
  • Where appropriate with partners, build and maintain limited PitchBook access programs to drive product awareness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine event and program objectives and drive pre and post execution activities
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the PitchBook brand and culture ensuring brand execution through messaging, design, and overall event experience
  • Manage communication between Sales and Customer Success to ensure effective event staffing, preparation, and training
  • Evaluate, measure, and report on the strategic effectiveness of events
  • Track and manage conference and travel budgets each quarter as aligned with event allocation
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Marketing and Events Management
  • Ability to work productively across diverse teams in rapidly changing situations. Partnership and collaboration is a fundamental requirement
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
