Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and publish original content aligned to brand standards across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages in a timely manner, and foster community interaction in coordination with practice leadership and in accordance with approved guidelines; do not disclose protected health information (PHI) in any response
  • Lead local campaigns to raise awareness of services, providers, locations, and educational content; partner with internal stakeholders and agencies as needed and obtain required reviews/approvals prior to launch
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing partner for the local market, ensuring materials and messaging support the SMS local brand and growth priorities
  • Manage collateral requests from internal teams: intake, prioritization, drafting/copywriting, collaborating with design team, routing for approvals, and delivery
  • Order, track, and coordinate distribution of printed collateral and promotional materials; maintain basic inventory as needed
  • Write and edit marketing content including flyers, brochures, website updates, social captions, event materials, and patient/community communications
  • Develop and write blog content (topics, outlines, drafts) to support patient education, service line growth, and SEO; coordinate clinical/compliance reviews and approvals prior to publishing
  • Create and manage patient testimonial and story content (identify candidates, draft/edit copy, coordinate photo/video as available, and publish) only with appropriate written authorization/consent and in alignment with HIPAA/privacy guidelines and required review/approval processes
  • Collaborate with internal website support for updates to website content (e.g. bios, services, events, announcements)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing/communications; healthcare experience preferred
  • Frequent travel within Florida required
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite)
  • Familiarity with basic website content management systems (Acquia/Drupal a plus)
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects through influence (individual contributor), manage stakeholders, and drive work from concept through execution
