Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own governance for US Rare across DAM and the Claims Library—define metadata/taxonomy standards and controlled vocabularies.
  • Ensure claims traceability for every asset/module (source IDs, version lineage, rights/consent, expiry).
  • Run the lifecycle from creation → approval → reuse → deprecation/archive, with automated checks and alerts.
  • Be the compliance gate with Regulatory/Medical/Privacy; prepare for audits and quickly remediate findings.
  • Drive adoption —deliver training, playbooks, office hours, and a champion network so teams actually use the standards.
  • Improve findability & reuse —QA ingestion/tagging, partner with brand teams and agencies, and reduce rework.
  • Enable modular content —ensure components are structured/tagged for reuse and localization.
  • Make the data useful —publish dashboards on reuse, cycle time, and metadata quality; turn insights into actions with Analytics.
  • Manage vendors/SLA work —lead offshore/onshore tagging backlogs, set acceptance criteria, and audit quality.
  • Continuously improve —run quarterly governance reviews, refine policies, and help design the future run-state with Marketing Ops.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in DAM/content governance or content operations (regulated industry preferred).
  • Strong metadata/taxonomy design and content lifecycle management experience.
  • Working knowledge of claims management, usage rights/consent, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with enterprise DAM and medical/legal/review systems (e.g., Veeva PromoMats or similar).
  • Proven training and change-management chops—comfortable leading adoption across teams.
  • Data literacy—can define/report KPIs (reuse rate, cycle time, metadata completeness) using Excel/BI.
  • Vendor/agency management experience; comfortable coordinating offshore support.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; library science, information management, or similar a plus.
