Job Summary

Own the end-to-end consumer insights agenda, turning research design, synthesis, and storytelling into actions that shape brand strategy, portfolio choices, and marketing effectiveness.

  • Plan, execute, and synthesize consumer research across multiple methodologies to inform propositions and risk management.
  • Partner with marketing, media, innovation, shopper, and strategy teams to embed insights into strategies and leadership decision-making.
  • Balance rigorous, data-driven insights with speed to learn and drive consumer-first brand growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and conduct consumer research studies, including vendor/partner sourcing and cross-functional collaboration to drive decision making.
  • Drive and maintain consistent approaches to consumer research across brand development; lead new methodologies to maximize learning value.
  • Prioritize key business questions, manage risk, and balance rigor with speed to support a consumer-first brand proposition.
  • Collaborate with marketing, media, innovation, shopper, and strategy teams to integrate insights into business strategies and actions.
  • Develop robust deliverables that highlight consumer behavior and trends, integrating data sources such as Brand Health tracking, IRI/Nielsen Panel, Ipsos, and custom studies.
  • Deliver presentations tailored to diverse audiences, translating complex findings into clear, actionable narratives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategic insights leadership experience with talent management experience.
  • 3+ years in a role with direct influence on Senior Leadership; ability to develop executive-ready materials for board, investors, and senior leadership.
  • Trusted thought partner to senior leaders with sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to operate independently across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Prior experience in CPG Consumer Insights and Enterprise Insights.
  • Strong working knowledge of Circana, Nielsen, and other syndicated data.
  • Clear, concise communication and storytelling through data.
  • Strong collaboration with different levels and cross-functional groups in an organization.

Preferred

  • Undergraduate degree (or higher) in Marketing, business or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence.
