Job Description

Responsibilities - Own and continuously refine Marvell's TAM/SAM models across key end markets including cloud data infrastructure, carrier networking, and enterprise — using both bottoms-up and top-down methodologies. - Develop and maintain a market segmentation framework that aligns with Marvell's product portfolio and business units. - Synthesize data from analyst firms (Dell'Oro, LightCounting, and others), customer inputs, and primary research to produce defensible market size estimates. - Build scenario models to project market growth under varying demand, technology adoption, and competitive conditions. - Present market analysis to executive leadership, the Board, and investors in support of earnings calls, strategic planning cycles, and M&A diligence. Requirements - BS degree required; MBA or MS in a technical, quantitative, or business discipline strongly preferred. - 15+ years of experience spanning market intelligence, analyst relations, competitive research, or strategic marketing within the semiconductor, data infrastructure, or enterprise technology industries. - Demonstrated expertise in market sizing methodologies (TAM/SAM/SOM), scenario modeling, and translating quantitative analysis into executive-level strategic narratives. - Deep, established relationships with senior analysts at Dell\'Oro, LightCounting, and others, and relevant financial research firms covering the semiconductor and AI infrastructure landscape. - Proven track record building and managing enterprise-grade AR programs that measurably influence analyst sentiment, report placement, and market perception. - Hands-on proficiency with market data platforms and research tools spanning financial (Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Global), market intelligence (IDC trackers, Dell\'Oro), and academic/technical/patent research resources; comfort building and maintaining analytical models. - Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to translate highly technical semiconductor concepts into clear, compelling narratives for executive, board, and external audiences. - Strong cross-functional leadership track record; demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across product, sales, finance, communications, and IR. - Experience building and leading teams; strong track record recruiting, developing, and retaining top analytical and communications talent. - Demonstrated vision and experience applying AI tools to scale market intelligence programs; active familiarity with AI-enabled research, synthesis, and competitive monitoring platforms. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build programs and functions from the ground up in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Nice_to_have - Deep familiarity with AI data center infrastructure, silicon photonics, co-packaged optics, custom ASIC, and/or cloud networking technologies. - Prior experience in a semiconductor company's corporate or strategic marketing function with direct exposure to investor relations and executive communications. - Experience presenting market intelligence findings directly to C-suite and board-level audiences. - Familiarity with competitive intelligence and AR management platforms (e.g., Crayon, Klue, Primary Intelligence, or comparable tools). Benefits - Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements - Marvell is committed to providing exceptional, comprehensive benefits that support our employees at every stage - from internship to retirement and through life’s most important moments. - Our offerings are built around four key pillars: financial well-being, family support, mental and physical health, and recognition. - Highlights include an employee stock purchase plan with a 2-year look back, family support programs to help balance work and home life, robust mental health resources to prioritize emotional well-being, and a recognition and service awards to celebrate contributions and milestones. - We look forward to sharing more with you during the interview process.
