Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Senior Communications Specialist is responsible for Wilder's day-to-day marketing tactics, including campaign design and execution.
  • Content marketing work includes developing and deploying engaging and high-quality marketing initiatives and materials to promote Wilder, working with the Communications Manager to build/schedule social media content, and overseeing the website and all social media channels.
  • Digital marketing will include SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media.
  • The position will provide ongoing website maintenance, ensuring the website reflects the organization's branding, messaging, and strategic objectives, and working with external vendors as needed.
  • This position is also responsible for tracking, measuring, analyzing and reporting the performance and success of digital assets and content marketing campaigns and recommending modifications to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • At least five years’ experience in a professional communications role
  • Direct experience in planning and implementing multichannel communications
  • Overseeing digital assets (including websites)
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms and engagement
  • Technical knowledge including familiarity with digital marketing platforms, digital advertising, and related analytics and reporting
  • Ability to handle multiple, concurrent assignments and manage projects from concept to completion
  • Commitment to producing high-quality communications within tight budgets and timelines
  • Interest and ability to work on strategy planning and day-to-day tasks
  • Outstanding written and interpersonal skills
