Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build the Sports Asset Pipeline
  • Systematically map the U.S. sports ecosystem (athletes, coaches, clubs, leagues, events, academies, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a dynamic database of sports assets, prioritized by strategic value
  • Asset Selection & Negotiation
  • Identify and secure the most relevant sports ambassadors and partners aligned with brand strategy
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations, including contract terms, rights & deliverables, and fee structures
  • Ensure all partnerships are executed efficiently and within budget
  • Content Activation & Integrated Campaigns
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (social, PR, events, KOL collaborations) around signed assets
  • Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality video and photo assets
  • Track campaign performance and optimize activation strategies
  • Offline Events & Experiential Marketing
  • Plan and execute offline activations such as youth clinics, watch parties, and coaching seminars
  • Engage local communities to deepen grassroots brand presence
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the China headquarters marketing team to ensure U.S. strategies align with global brand identity
  • Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor activity, and asset performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in sports marketing, brand partnerships, or athlete management
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese (to seamlessly bridge U.S. partners and China HQ)
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. sports landscape, especially soccer and youth sports
  • Established network within the U.S. sports industry (agents, clubs, leagues, sports organizations)
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing endorsement contracts
  • Content-savvy mindset—able to translate sports assets into compelling brand stories
  • Data-driven, with the ability to track and optimize partnership ROI

Preferred

  • Professional with experience in both U.S. and China markets
  • Experience with World Cup, Olympics, or other major event marketing
  • Genuine passion for soccer and knowledge of the youth sports training market
