Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Video Production
  • Shoot attorney videos, interviews, and short form series content
  • Capture b-roll: office, community events, site visits, attorney self-captured video, etc.
  • Manage lighting/audio setups (minimal but professional)
  • Maintain production quality while working fast
  • Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit short-form social video: hooks, pacing, captions, cutdowns, thumbnails
  • Produce multiple versions (15s/30s/60s; vertical-first)
  • Add branded elements, captions, and compliance-friendly visuals
  • Build a reusable editing style that matches firm brand identity and trust tone
  • Content Strategy Support
  • Work with Social Media Strategist and Marketing Leadership to transform talking points into scripts and shot lists
  • Recommend trends and formats that can be adapted to a legal/trustworthy approach
  • Help attorneys feel natural on camera (coaching, prompting, confidence)
  • Workflow & Asset Management
  • Organize raw footage, b-roll, project files, and final content
  • Maintain consistent file naming, storage, and content tracking
  • Coordinate release scheduling with the Social Media & Graphics Specialist

Requirements

  • 3+ years producing short-form video for social platforms (portfolio required)
  • Strong editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
  • High comfort filming on-site and interacting with attorneys/clients/staff
  • Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, and retention editing
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and sensitivity in high-stakes legal contexts

Preferred

  • Experience with legal marketing, advocacy organizations, or public interest storytelling
  • Motion graphics, sound design, light color grading
  • Ability to travel regularly across regional markets
