Social Media Outreach Coordinator for Nonprofit Foundation

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization’s Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube accounts.
• Develop a monthly content calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Create and publish posts, reels, short videos, graphics, stories, captions, and content.
• Highlight programs, student activities, mentoring, MCAT preparation, community outreach, health fairs, and other organizational initiatives.
• Capture and share appropriate photos, videos, testimonials, student achievements, mentor/physician highlights, and event content.
• Promote applications, events, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and other activities.
• Monitor engagement and provide periodic updates on social media performance.
• Maintain appropriate professionalism, accuracy, branding, privacy, and permissions.
• Collaborate with leadership, students, physicians, mentors, volunteers, and community partners.
• Attend in-person academic, community, and social events to capture photos/videos for online content. Event schedule to be provided.

Requirements

• Strong communication, creativity, organization, and initiative.
• Experience with social media content creation and management.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Canva, photography, videography, or video-editing experience preferred.
• Interest in medicine, education, mentorship, health equity, or community engagement preferred.
