Job Summary

Own content creation and social delivery across platforms for SRL, turning student, faculty, and ministry stories into audience-building content and fundraising support.

  • Content ownership: develop a monthly calendar and publish across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and more.
  • Story-driven storytelling: highlight students, professors, conferences, campuses and ministry impact to grow engagement and reach.
  • Performance and fundraising support: monitor metrics, report insights, and optimize for growth and donor campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Obtain stories and testimonies and create compelling content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Write engaging captions, posts, newsletters, and promotional content.
  • Design graphics, reels, stories, and short-form videos highlighting SRL's students, professors, conferences, campuses, and ministry impact.
  • Coordinate photography and video collection from SRL campuses and events.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar.
  • Schedule and publish posts across all social media channels.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and engagement.
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
  • Share student testimonies, alumni stories, faculty highlights, and ministry updates.
  • Promote conferences, courses, fundraising campaigns, graduation ceremonies, and special events.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for organizations, ministries, nonprofits, or businesses.
  • Proficiency with Canva and major social media platforms.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Commitment to SRL's mission and values.

Preferred

  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of Christian ministry, theological education, or nonprofit fundraising.
  • Photography and videography experience.
