  • Identify daily classroom and campus moments that translate into strong marketing posts across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and beyond.
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan on-brand campaigns, ensure timely posting, and measure engagement to inform future content.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of classroom learning, Montessori activities, Reggio-inspired projects, enrichment programs, outdoor experiences, campus events, student celebrations, teacher highlights, and school-wide initiatives
  • Create engaging social media content, including reels, short-form videos, stories, graphics, photography, written posts, event promotions, enrollment content, and campus highlights
  • Edit photos and video content to ensure each post is polished, visually appealing, family-friendly, and aligned with MRA branding
  • Develop content that tells the MRA story and highlights the quality of the educational experience provided to students and families
  • Identify meaningful daily moments within classrooms and campuses that can be transformed into strong marketing content
  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and X, as assigned
  • Schedule and publish approved posts according to the marketing calendar and school expectations
  • Help maintain a consistent online presence for MRA campuses through timely, relevant, and professional content
  • Assist with campaigns related to enrollment, tours, new campus openings, summer programs, school events, enrichment offerings, teacher appreciation, student achievements, and family engagement
  • Maintain an organized library of approved photos, videos, graphics, captions, edited content, and completed posts

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare center, summer camp, enrichment program, youth organization, or similar setting
  • Previous experience creating and posting content on major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other digital channels
  • Experience capturing quality photos and videos using a smartphone, camera, or similar equipment
  • Experience editing photos and short-form video content for social media use
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing principles, audience engagement, and brand consistency
  • Ability to work confidently and professionally in classrooms and around young children
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced school environment
  • Excellent proofreading, grammar, spelling, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate respectfully with leadership, administrators, teachers, and the marketing team
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to complete content assignments by required deadlines

Preferred

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Education, or a related field
  • Experience with content calendars, brand management, social media strategy, influencer outreach, public relations, or community engagement
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar editing tools
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, Google Analytics, web performance reporting, or platform insight tools
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices, keywords, and digital campaign performance
  • Experience creating educational, family-focused, school-related, or child-centered marketing content
  • Interest in Montessori education, Reggio Emilia-inspired learning, private school marketing, or early childhood education
