Job Summary
Own social content creation and publishing for a beauty/lifestyle brand with a bias toward short-form video, trend research, and community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, and related platforms.
- Content creation and editing: produce and refine short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and similar formats.
- Planning and reporting: maintain content calendars, monitor basic performance, and share simple insights with the team.
- Community and outreach: manage creator outreach and respond to comments to grow the audience.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other social media platforms
- Film and edit short-form videos, including TikToks, Reels, and promotional content
- Assist with content planning and social media calendars
- Research trends, viral content, hashtags, and industry best practices
- Help manage influencer and creator outreach
- Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement
- Assist with photoshoots and content creation projects when needed
- Track social media performance and provide basic reporting
- Support the marketing team with additional projects and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Familiarity with current social media trends and platforms
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Photography or videography experience
- Graphic design skills
- Experience managing social media accounts
- Knowledge of TikTok Shop, influencer marketing, or e-commerce
