Job Summary

Own the social content engine for a family-friendly mental health practice, balancing content creation, calendar planning, and light promotion across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest while leveraging Canva/CapCut and repurposing existing assets.

  • Content Production: write captions, hooks, and basic copy; design graphics and carousel posts; produce short-form video and pin-ready assets.
  • Content Operations: plan a monthly calendar, organize assets, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Content Repurposing and Promotion: adapt blogs, podcasts, and workshops into social content and support promotional campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms
  • Developing short-form video content, including Reels and TikTok-style videos
  • Designing graphics, carousel posts, Pinterest pins, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Writing captions, hooks, hashtags, and basic marketing copy
  • Helping plan and organize a monthly content calendar
  • Repurposing blogs, podcasts, newsletters, workshops, and resources into social media content
  • Supporting promotion for workshops, groups, online store resources, free downloads, and community events
  • Assisting with basic brand awareness campaigns
  • Tracking engagement and suggesting ways to improve reach, visibility, and audience connection
  • Helping capture photo or video content during occasional on-site visits, workshops, or community events when available

Requirements

  • A college student with strong social media skills preferably studying marketing, communications, public relations, psychology, graphic design or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and current content trends
  • Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Adobe Illustrator, or similar creative tools to create and edit videos
  • Interest in mental health, child development, parenting, neurodiversity, ADHD, autism, executive functioning, or family support
  • Passion for creating engaging, trend-driven content
  • Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to the table
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience with storytelling and graphic design for social media
