Social Media Marketing Intern - Baltimore, MD

Responsibilities

• - Stay up-to-date on social media and Gen Z trends.
• - Create, produce, and edit visually appealing static and short-form video content focused on brand awareness and lead generation on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• - Tailor content and messaging to different audiences (i.e. freshmen, upperclassmen, graduate students, and parents).
• - Respond to Direct Messages in a timely, professional manner
• - Monitor and engage with relevant conversations on Reddit, tracking sentiment and identifying trends
• - Assist with reputation management by monitoring comments, reviews, and community discussions
• - Track performance metrics including engagement, reach, leads, and response times
• - Conduct proactive outreach via TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to engage prospective renters
• - Build relationships with campus organizations, local businesses, and students for social media content and outreach partnerships online and offline
• - Assist with planning and attending resident events, engaging tabling opportunities, and effective on and off campus outreach campaigns

Requirements

• - Comfortable on camera
• - Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Real Estate, or related field
• - Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit platforms
• - Strong understanding of college students’ interests to help plan well-attended resident events, engaging tabling opportunities, and effective outreach campaigns.
• - Excellent design skills in Canva
• - Excellent video/photo editing skills in their program of choice (Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, VSCO, etc.)
• - Excellent written communication skills
• - Professional and customer-service-oriented tone
• - Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• - Comfortable analyzing basic engagement metrics

Preferred

• Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
• Familiarity with Sprout Social
• Interest in multifamily real estate or property management
