Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day management and strategic direction of Sky and thatgamecompany’s social media channels.
  • Lead TikTok growth strategy, including content planning, trend participation, testing, and ongoing optimization.
  • Develop social content that resonates with both new and existing audiences while maintaining brand voice and values.
  • Balance timely, reactive content with evergreen brand and campaign-driven social programs.
  • Regularly test new formats, creative approaches, and content ideas to drive learning and growth.
  • Analyze post- and channel-level performance to identify insights and apply learnings to future content and campaigns.
  • Share performance insights, recommendations, and key learnings with the broader marketing team.
  • Stay informed on platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices across social platforms.
  • Manage the Sky and TGC social media content calendar in collaboration with internal stakeholders to align with key brand and in-game moments.
  • Organize and package social media assets, copy, and posting specifications for regional community managers to publish on localized channels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media for a brand, ideally within games, entertainment, or culture-driven industries.
  • Experience supporting live-service or community-driven products.
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, humor, and platform-native language.
  • Comfort working with analytics and using performance data to inform creative and strategic decisions.
  • Willingness to experiment, iterate, and learn through testing.
  • Solid understanding of brand marketing and evergreen campaign development.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for Sky: Children of the Light and/or video games is a plus.

Preferred

  • The ideal candidate is either a dedicated Sky fan or has strong familiarity with the game and similar titles.
