Job Description

The Big Picture

  • Take the lead on shaping and protecting the social strategy and brand voice for our client so it feels authentic and high-energy.
  • Own the roadmap for our social channels, making sure we're telling the right stories on the right platforms.
  • Keep our content tight and aligned with our client’s brand identity and our bigger marketing goals.
  • Map out and manage content calendars that capture the buzz of races, global events, athlete wins, partnerships, and viral cultural moments.
  • Jump in on other projects to support the team when needed.

Content Creation

  • Produce social-first content from quick-hit videos and creator led concepts to catchy copy.
  • Be on the ground at client events capturing the action as it happens.
  • Make sure sponsored content feels seamless and impactful.
  • Briefing and managing creators to deliver content that builds the client’s presence and expands their universe across platforms.
  • Drive the content approach for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, knowing what works best for each audience.
  • Develop insight-driven content briefs to guide internal teams and contractors.

Building the Community

  • Execute social plans that shine a light on the client’s grassroots work, initiatives and community-driven campaigns.
  • Keep stakeholders in the loop with regular updates on what’s trending and how we’re doing.
  • Dive into the conversation with fans, athletes, and the global endurance world.
  • Focus on growing a loyal, engaged audience across all our social touchpoints.

Race Day & Events

  • Head up digital coverage for client race weekends.
  • Coordinate with the on-site crew to make sure live content flows smoothly from the finish line to timeline.

Social Monitoring

  • Keep a close eye on engagement, reach, and growth to see what's actually landing.
  • Turn those numbers into real insights that help us level up our future content.
  • Always be looking for new ways to innovate and reach fresh audiences.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent life experience).
  • 3+ years of experience running social for a brand or organisation that people care about.
  • Deep knowledge of how social platforms actually work and what’s currently trending.
  • Comfortable using tools like Adobe, Edits, or CapCut to make things look good.
  • Hands-on experience with short-form video editing.
  • Top-tier writing skills—you know how to tell a story in a few characters.
  • Ready to travel and work weekends when the racing calendar kicks off.

Preferred

  • Background in sports or live event content creation
  • A data-driven mindset with experience in analytics tools.
  • A genuine love for triathlon and endurance sports culture.
