Responsibilities

• Manage Neverskunk’s Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts.
• Develop and maintain a simple monthly content plan.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging posts, Reels, and TikToks.
• Repurpose existing content across platforms when appropriate.
• Write captions and help maintain a consistent Neverskunk voice.
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement and respond appropriately.
• Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth.
• Stay current with social media trends, formats, and best practices that are relevant to fishing and outdoor audiences.
• Take ownership of getting our TikTok Shop properly set up and organized.
• Ensure products, listings, links, and shopping features are working correctly.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a brand, business, creator, or organization.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and ideally YouTube.
• Comfortable creating and editing short-form video.
• Good instincts for what makes social content engaging.
• Ability to write concise, natural, engaging captions.
• Familiarity with TikTok Shop is strongly preferred, but we're open to someone who is confident learning it quickly.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to post.
• An interest in fishing, outdoor recreation, or similar enthusiast markets is a plus.
