Job Summary

Own and optimize the nonprofit’s organic social program with channel-tailored content, calendar planning, and performance reporting to hit KPIs and grow audience engagement.

  • Own content strategy and calendar: rewrite the organic approach, schedule posts across channels, and test concepts with cross-functional partners.
  • Community and partnerships: lead donor engagement, influencer campaigns, and sponsor-specific posts to expand reach and loyalty.
  • Measurement and optimization: analyze post tests and reports, sharing insights across teams to drive ongoing improvements.

Job Description

- Strategy & Planning: Revise the existing organic social strategy in collaboration with the VP, Digital Marketing to meet organic KPIs and grow our audiences and engagement. - Content Calendar: Write monthly publishing calendars outlining content on each channel, utilizing a mix of campaigns and trending content. - Channel Personalization: Write compelling organic social copy tailored for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn to match audience motivations. - Post Management: Organize each social post from start to finish, including visual elements, captions, and scheduling within Hubspot. - Testing & Optimization: Regularly test social content and analyze results with the Director of Performance Marketing to inform future posts. - Editorial & Email Alignment: Meet deadlines in the social editorial calendar and update assigned email tasks in Asana. - Community Management: Lead donor community engagement across social, ad, and SMS platforms, flag sensitive content, and engage with partners. - Partnerships & Campaigns: Build influencer campaigns with guidance from the VP, Digital Marketing. - Donor & Sponsor Content: Collaborate with Advancement and Corporate Partnerships to tailor posts for major donors and sponsors. - Performance Reporting: Assess post performance with senior marketers and share insights across teams. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, or related field. - Requirements: 5+ years in organic social management across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok. - Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Requirements: Experience with Asana or other project management tools a plus. - Requirements: Experience with Hubspot a plus. - Requirements: Strong copywriting translating strategy into compelling posts that convey the organization’s mission. - Requirements: Detail oriented with creative initiative to pitch concepts and track trends. - Requirements: Nonprofit experience preferred. - Requirements: Experience building emerging channels and staying on top of trends. - Requirements: Strong organizational and time-management skills in deadline-driven environments. - Requirements: Understanding of integrated digital marketing strategy and remote collaboration. - Requirements: Willingness to support time-sensitive campaigns outside standard hours. - Requirements: Commitment to Greater Good Charities’ mission and inclusive workplace. - Nice_to_have: Experience with Asana or other project management tools a plus. - Nice_to_have: Experience with Hubspot a plus. - Nice_to_have: Nonprofit industry experience preferred. - Nice_to_have: Experience building emerging channels and staying on top of trends. - Benefits: 13 paid national holidays - Benefits: Sick leave - Benefits: Paid vacation - Benefits: Parental leave - Benefits: 401K - Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits
