Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

• planning, filming, editing, and posting content
• writing captions and replying to comments and DMs
• Once a month, you’ll come to our Austin office to batch-film Jason and our staff
• You’re welcome to appear on camera yourself if you’re comfortable
• You’ll also spot trends, test new formats, and share a short monthly update on what’s working
• In this role, you’re your own boss. You’ll set your own goals, plan your own schedule, and decide how to grow our accounts
• Day to day, you’ll take ownership and run our social media like it’s your own business
• Our Head of Marketing will be there to help when you need it and will pass along ideas from time to time

Requirements

• You live in or near Austin and can come in once a month
• Experience with Meta insights
• Experience growing a social media following
• Comfort with your own phone or camera setup and an editing app like CapCut
• Experience with Canva and AI platforms
• Strong writing skills
• Personable and easy to work with
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to hit deadlines without being managed
