Job Description
Responsibilities
- Help develop Aura Factor's ongoing social content strategy and creative concepts
- Regularly ideate new still-image and short-form video concepts
- Collaborate with us to refine and prioritize ideas before production
- Plan and execute shoots in New York
- Shoot original photo and video content
- Use AI to create photo and video content
- Edit short-form video for platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Create and edit still imagery, carousels, and other social assets
- Adapt trends and cultural moments in ways that feel authentic to Aura Factor rather than simply copying what other brands are doing
- Maintain an organized pipeline of concepts, content in production, finished assets, and scheduled posts
Requirements
- Have a strong eye for composition, typography, imagery, editing, and visual storytelling
- Be able to shoot compelling content on a phone and/or camera
- Be comfortable editing short-form video
- Understand what feels native to Instagram and TikTok
- Follow culture, creators, brands, visual trends, and emerging content formats
- Be able to translate a broad creative direction into an actual piece of content
- Be organized enough to manage several pieces of content at different stages of production
- Be comfortable receiving feedback and iterating collaboratively
- Be resourceful and willing to figure things out
- Be based in New York City and available to work together in person as needed
