Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Instagram Manager will plan, create, and schedule on-brand content (posts, reels, and stories) that highlights independent food and drink spots and drives engagement.
  • Responsibilities include managing the content calendar, writing compelling captions, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, and monitoring analytics to refine strategies.
  • The role also involves engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, collaborating with partner venues on content ideas, and staying current with Instagram trends and best practices.
  • The Instagram Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to align content with broader marketing goals and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), specifically focused on Instagram growth and engagement.
  • Strong Content Strategy skills, including planning, organizing, and optimizing content calendars for ongoing campaigns.
  • Excellent Writing and Communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-consistent captions and messages.
  • Proficiency with Instagram analytics and third-party scheduling or social media management tools.
  • Familiarity with visual storytelling, including basic knowledge of image and short-form video best practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or working with local independent businesses is a plus.
  • Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
