Job Summary

Own end-to-end social content creation for Studywave, from ideation to posting, testing, and partnerships, across TikTok/Instagram, with a focus on trends, calendars, performance tracking, and creator outreach.

  • Lead daily content production and repurposing across platforms
  • Develop and manage the social content calendar and growth campaigns
  • Identify and coordinate with student creators and partnerships

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish approximately 5–10 pieces of social content per day, with smart repurposing across platforms
  • Design high-quality Canva carousels, graphics, study tips, memes, infographics, and educational posts
  • Create faceless TikToks and Instagram Reels using trends, text, voiceovers, screen recordings, B-roll, and other creative formats
  • Research what is currently performing across StudyTok, Studygram, SAT/AP, college, productivity, and student accounts
  • Turn trends and successful formats into original Studywave content
  • Help develop and manage our social media content calendar
  • Constantly test new hooks, formats, topics, and posting strategies
  • Track performance and identify which content we should make more of
  • Find and reach out to student creators, micro-influencers, study accounts, and potential brand ambassadors
  • Help coordinate UGC, creator partnerships, giveaways, and other growth campaigns

Requirements

  • Extremely familiar with TikTok and Instagram culture
  • Understands what high school and college students actually engage with online
  • Very comfortable with Canva
  • Has strong visual taste and can make content that doesn't look overly corporate
  • Can recognize trends and quickly adapt them for a brand
  • Writes great hooks, captions, and short-form copy
  • Can work independently and consistently produce content
  • Is comfortable experimenting—some posts will fail, and that's okay
  • Is interested in education, studying, college, SAT/AP content, or student culture

Preferred

  • Experience growing a TikTok, Instagram, meme page, student organization account, personal account, or brand account is a major plus.
