What you'll do

The Account Executive supports the success of assigned client accounts by ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day activities, clear communication, and timely delivery across social media and digital initiatives. Working closely with the Account Manager, the Account Executive translates account priorities into actionable tasks, coordinates with internal teams, and helps maintain strong client relationships through consistent execution and responsiveness.

The role is execution-focused, detail-oriented, and client-aware, ensuring that agreed strategies, timelines, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Manager in the day-to-day management of assigned client accounts.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for clients on execution-related matters.
  • Ensure client requests, feedback, and updates are clearly understood and communicated internally.
  • Maintain accurate records of client requirements, feedback, and deliverables.
  • Plan, execute, and manage social media content across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others as required.
  • Create, maintain, and update content calendars in line with agreed account strategies.
  • Adapt content formats and messaging to suit different platforms and audiences.
  • Monitor social media performance metrics, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Track web traffic, keywords, and platform insights using tools such as Google Analytics and native platform analytics.
  • Prepare performance summaries and insights to support reporting and optimization.
  • Flag risks, underperformance, or improvement opportunities to the Account Manager.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (content, design, video, strategy) to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Ensure tasks are clearly briefed, tracked, and completed according to timelines.
  • Consolidate internal inputs and feedback before sharing with the Account Manager or client.
  • Regularly align with Account Management on deadlines, priorities, and dependencies.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in line with brand tone and guidelines.
  • Support audience growth and engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for influencer collaborations and community-building activities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends across social and digital platforms.
  • Stay up to date with emerging tools, platforms, and best practices.
  • Share relevant insights and ideas with the Account Manager and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • BA in Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Social Media/Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media best practices.
  • Experience in doing audience and buyer persona research.
  • Excellent multitasking and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good written and verbal English.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Solid grip on grammar, spelling, and style of language used while posting on social media.
