Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.)
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging daily content tailored to each platform.
  • Monitor analytics to track KPIs for performance, engagement, and growth.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a sense of community.
  • Coordinate social campaigns around key sports events, streaming content, and breaking news.
  • Stay up to date on trends in sports and digital media to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Assist in scheduling and managing live sports streams via our platform and app, working closely with broadcast and production teams to ensure quality content.
  • Oversee the presentation and upkeep of social media accounts.
  • Interact with followers, respond to queries and monitor reader reviews, feedback and mentions.
  • Assist in website management to ensure a local and up-to-date content experience for readers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital content production, or digital marketing.
  • Passion for sports and strong familiarity with Midwest teams, athletes, and fan culture.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, Photoshop, or CapCut.
  • Experience with live streaming tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, editing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during sports seasons.
  • Current residence in and the ability to work in the greater Sioux Falls, SD metro area. Some travel may be required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
  • Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.

Preferred

  • Experience with live streaming tools and platforms is a plus.
