Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partners with leadership to build and manage a social media content strategy aligned to brand voice, campaign priorities, and audience needs.
  • Reviews produced social media content with leadership for approval before publishing.
  • Develops content calendars (weekly/monthly) and maintain consistent publishing cadence.
  • Creates and publishes content across channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. — based on need).
  • Optimizes posts for reach and engagement using best practices (copy, hashtags/keywords, timing, CTAs, format selection).
  • Engages with audiences by monitoring comments/messages and escalating issues as needed.
  • Produces digital assets: social posts, short-form video scripts, blog/article drafts, web copy, email copy, and campaign landing page messaging.
  • Repurposes long-form content into short-form social content (and vice versa).
  • Ensures content is accessible and on-brand (tone, visual identity, inclusive language).
  • Collaborates with designers, videographers, and SMEs to produce high-quality creative.
  • Tracks and reports on performance using platform analytics and/or tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite, GA4).
  • Delivers insights on what’s working and recommend improvements (content type, cadence, audience targeting, creative formats).
  • Provides monthly reporting with KPIs, key learnings, and recommendations
  • Maintains a clear intake process and timeline for content requests.
  • Ensures approvals are documented and deadlines are met.
  • Applies brand, legal, and compliance guidelines (where required).
  • Coordinates with Internal Comms, HR, Brand, PR, or Sales stakeholders as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with internal teams and key stakeholders on marketing and communication project needs to align communication efforts with organizational goals.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders throughout the company to gather information for news, announcements and events.
  • Participates in and supports other company/department and/or special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Three Plus Years Experience in Social Media, Digital Content, Communications, or Other Related Field Experience
  • Experience creating and publishing content to digital and social media channels
  • Video editing skills including, but not limited to, time editing, captioning, and sound leveling Webcasting software administration skills
  • Proficiency with video editing software, such as Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, and Avid Media Composer
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills, with an Eye for Crafting Compelling, Audience-driven Messaging
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Strong Relationship Building and Collaboration Skills
  • Ability to Thrive in a Fast-paced Environment, Balancing Multiple Projects and Priorities
  • Working knowledge of content performance metrics and reporting
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, English or Other Related Areas
  • Previous Beer, Spirits and/or Distribution Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Familiarity with basic design principles and templates (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma—depending on team)
  • Experience supporting employer brand and/or internal communications
