Job Description

Drive social video content and community engagement for Cornbread Hemp, coordinating with the Social Media Manager to publish across platforms.

  • Content Creation and Management: Assist in developing and editing engaging paid and organic social media videos across platforms.
  • Edit long-form video content into shorts.
  • Field requests from our Paid Ads team to shoot and/or edit short-form content for multiple digital ad platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to meet deadlines and update a content calendar.
  • Engage with followers and online communities to foster positive relationships and build brand awareness.
  • Assist in managing social media contests and promotions with influencers.
  • Track social media performance metrics using analytics tools.
  • Generate weekly reports to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support campaigns, events, and other initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years in social media management, video production (filming and editing), and marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and software like Resolve, Premiere, Capcut; strong analytics understanding.
  • Communication: Strong writing and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team; detail-oriented and organized; comfortable speaking on camera.
  • Adaptability: Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficient with Slack, Monday, Google Suite, and 90.io; high attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Positive energy and reliability for team cohesion.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s preferred in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; must have a valid driver license; reliable home wifi.
  • Travel: Comfortable traveling across KY and attending events as needed.
