Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social media content lifecycle for Sun Country, from creative concepting and on-site production to publishing, scheduling, and performance optimization, while collaborating with Marketing and internal partners to tell stories across platforms.

Own content creation and publishing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and others
Drive brand storytelling, trend-informed concepts, and cross-department coordination

Job Description

Responsibilities

Create engaging organic social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
Write compelling, brand-aligned copy tailored to each social platform.
Capture photo and video content using professional cameras and mobile devices.
Edit short-form videos, reels, stories, and other platform-native content.
Develop creative concepts that showcase Sun Country destinations, employees, aircraft, customers, partnerships, and company culture.
Stay current on platform trends and recommend content ideas that align with emerging formats and audience behaviors. Assist with real-time content creation during events, launches, route announcements, and company initiatives.
Publish and schedule content across Sun Country's social media channels.
Coordinate content calendars with the Marketing team.
Monitor channel performance and recommend optimizations based on engagement trends.
Maintain brand consistency across all published content.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Photography, Film, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
2–4 years of experience creating content for social media
Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone across multiple platforms.
Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or similar creative tools.
Strong photography and mobile content creation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand.
Experience in travel, hospitality, aviation, sports, or lifestyle brands.

Preferred
