Job Summary

Own bilingual social content publishing and adaptation for Latino audiences, with a focus on timely, platform-tailored delivery and light community engagement.

  • Content Publishing & Platform Support: Publish and format posts on designated platforms per campaign schedules.
  • Copy & Post Development: Draft captions and adapt messaging for each platform and bilingual needs.
  • Bilingual Content Adaptation & Cultural Competency: Translate and culturally tailor English/Spanish content for diverse Latino audiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Content Publishing & Platform Support - Publish approved content across designated social media platforms in alignment with campaign content schedules
  • Ensure posts are properly formatted, tagged, and scheduled
  • Coordinate with the social team on messaging and amplification timing
  • Copy & Post Development - Draft or adapt captions, headlines, and post copy for social platforms
  • Adjust messaging to meet platform best practices, tone, and audience needs
  • Support bilingual copy development for English- and Spanish-language content
  • Bilingual Content Adaptation & Cultural Competency - Translate and adapt approved content from English to Spanish and, when needed, from Spanish to English
  • Ensure translated content is culturally competent, accessible, and appropriate for diverse Latino and Spanish-speaking audiences
  • Flag language, imagery, phrasing, or references that may require adaptation for cultural relevance
  • Advise on tone, phrasing, and audience considerations for bilingual and community-facing content
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital organizing, or content support
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English, including strong writing and editing skills in both languages
  • Demonstrated experience creating, translating, or adapting content for Latino and Spanish-speaking audiences
  • Strong familiarity with major social media platforms and online trends
  • Clear writing voice and good editorial judgment
  • Comfort working with political or advocacy-related content
  • Strong cultural competency and nuanced understanding of Latino and Spanish-speaking communities in the U.S.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience using basic social media and content tools, including native platform tools, Google Drive, and scheduling platforms
  • Ability to distinguish between direct translation and culturally relevant adaptation
