Responsibilities

  • - Content creation: Assist in brainstorming, writing, and designing visual or short-form video content (Reels, graphics) tailored to each platform. • - Community Engagement: Monitor comments, direct messages (DMs), and emails from other political organizations, candidates, or electeds, responding promptly and professionally to foster audience interaction.
  • - Trend Research: Keep an eye on emerging viral trends, audio clips, and strategies from similar organizations to pitch fresh content ideas.
  • - Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators such as reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and clicks to help assemble simple reports to deliver to the Director of Operations and Programming.
  • - Team Support: Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Programming, and sometimes with the Digital Fundraising Consultant and Operations and Programming Assistant, to prepare updates about Fund Her endorsements, upcoming events, and other timely events.

Requirements

  • - Currently a college student or young professional interested in politics, policy, or working for a non-profit.
  • - Strengths in social media, graphic design, and marketing.
  • - Must be highly organized; creative, with an eye for good design; and a productive collaborator. This role requires the ability to take initiative and reliably follow deadlines, with some tasks requiring fast turnaround.
  • - Must have excellent written communication skills with a strong eye for grammar, tone, and brand voice.
  • - Must have basic graphic design and video editing abilities (experience with Canva and iMovie or similar video editing platforms).
  • - Commitment to Fund Her’s values.
