Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule posts across Meta and LinkedIn.
• Monitor and respond to post comments, direct messages, and brand mentions.
• Film and edit short-form video content for the agency and partners using Canva or CapCut.
• Create visuals for social posts and email campaigns using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Build the visual assets for paid social campaigns in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Strategist.
• Capture pictures and videos for partners' social media and website, as needed.
• Perform minor edits on long-form lecture-style videos.
• Assist the marketing team with ad hoc tasks, administrative duties, and special projects.
• Analyze data and trends to pitch campaign and content ideas.
• Track key performance indicators and help compile monthly performance reports.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with major social platforms and current algorithms and trends.
• Strong copywriting, proofreading, and an eye for design.
• Basic proficiency in design and video editing software (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or Premiere Pro).
• Proactive, capable of managing deadlines, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
