Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies across 20 dealership websites.
  • Conduct keyword research targeting high-intent search terms for new inventory, used inventory, service, and parts by market, brand, and geography.
  • Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, header structures, schema markup, and landing page content in alignment with OEM guidelines.
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability across the website portfolio.
  • Maintain and optimize Google Business Profile listings, ensuring accurate NAP data, categories, and content.
  • Develop and maintain SEO-optimized content for vehicle specials, service department pages, and OEM parts pages.
  • Audit and optimize existing website content for internal linking, topical authority, and conversion relevance.
  • Support local SEO initiatives, including city landing pages and service area targeting.
  • Provide SEO performance reporting using Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and enterprise SEO platforms.
  • Track organic traffic trends, keyword ranking movement, and leads attributed to organic search.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SEO experience, including automotive or multi-location environments.
  • Experience managing SEO across multiple websites simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and enterprise SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or BrightLocal.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS basics, and technical SEO principles, including structured data and crawl management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate SEO data for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with automotive dealership website platforms such as DealerInspire, Dealer.com, or Dealer eProcess.
  • Understanding of automotive search intent, inventory lifecycle, and seasonal search demand patterns.
  • Experience working with agency teams and OEM compliance requirements is preferred.
