Responsibilities

Partner with Customer Sales Leads, Customer Vice Presidents, Sales Finance, Category Strategy, Supply Chain, Omni Marketing, and Brand Marketing to identify and execute initiatives that deliver brand and sales objectives.
Co-develop customer- and channel-specific Gross Sales, Net Sales, and trade Annual Operating Plan targets with Revenue Management.
Partner with Revenue Management and Customer Sales Leads to develop and optimize promotional support plans within established guardrails, maximizing return on investment.
Collaborate with Category Management and Customer Sales Leads to optimize assortment and innovation goals based on national item priorities established by Category Strategy.
Own communication of customer forecasts and business drivers to internal partners supporting Demand Planning and the monthly Integrated Business Planning process.
Identify risks and opportunities against the annual plan and develop solutions that balance customer and business needs.
Lead execution of category big bets, including innovation and in-store seasonal drive windows.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
8+ years of CPG sales experience including customer strategy/trade marketing.
Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and process management skills.
Experience in customer sales or customer management.
Comfort working in a highly matrixed environment.
Financial acumen, specifically related to retailer/customer P&Ls and trade management.
Demonstrated ability to influence and sell across functions.

Preferred

Food industry experience.
Experience working with direct-store-delivery and direct routes to market.
Experience in Revenue Growth Management.
Experience in Sales Finance.
Experience in Category Management or Category Strategy.
MBA Preferred
