Apex Innovation Ventures

Apex Innovation Ventures develops early-stage innovation companies. Participation ranges from consulting and co-development to investment and operation. We help innovators find and develop the expanded resources they need to see their inventions find fruition. This might be development support, talent acquisition, entity and intellectual property development, strategic investors, supply partners, or market partners. Our team has deep innovation experience, and our ventures tend to reflect complex or difficult-to-achieve value models.Since 2016 we have added a crypto-economy valuation toolset to our intellectual property assessment that builds on decades of fintech, analytical, and intellectual product development and evaluation experience. These include a quant model and an audit process that allows us to assess utility-crypto offerings' value and investment requirements, particularly in scenarios claiming disruptive cannibalization of measurable markets. We expand on Burniske, including timing, supply, offer structure, assets categories, drivers of utility and adoption, factors affecting component value, market concentration, market novelty, cost positions, participant loyalty, savings drivers, and economic factors driving holding, leakage, and velocity. We present token value against implicit discount hurdle rates. We include measures of systematic and validated input factors (or surrogates) with quantitative univariate factor sensitivity and multivariate factor interaction, including MRTS and Monte Carlo estimates model volatility. Our assessment includes qualitative drivers: white paper audit, offering structure, team constituency and engagement, tech development requirements, network traffic capacity, customer acquisition viability, build investment, and technology gaps.
