Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale Jiffy's organic search strategy across traditional SEO and emerging generative search platforms (AI-powered search, answer engines, and LLM-driven discovery)
  • Build and maintain a strong technical SEO foundation, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, internal linking, and performance optimization
  • Partner closely with engineering and product teams to ensure SEO requirements are incorporated into product development and site architecture decisions
  • Design and scale programmatic SEO initiatives to capture long-tail search demand across product categories, creator use cases, and discovery surfaces
  • Develop and optimize structured content and metadata frameworks that improve visibility across featured snippets, rich results, and generative AI responses
  • Analyze organic performance using Search Console, analytics platforms, and large datasets to uncover opportunities for traffic growth, indexation improvements, and conversion impact
  • Run structured SEO experiments (site architecture changes, schema implementations, internal linking updates, template optimizations) with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with content, paid media, and lifecycle teams to ensure SEO strategy supports broader demand generation initiatives
  • Monitor search algorithm updates, AI search developments, and competitive landscape changes, adjusting strategy as search behavior evolves
  • Clearly communicate SEO insights, opportunities, and performance results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical SEO, organic growth, or search-focused marketing roles
  • Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, index, and rank content, and how site architecture impacts discoverability
  • Hands-on experience with technical SEO concepts including site architecture, structured data, internal linking, crawl management, and indexation
  • Strong analytical ability using Google Search Console, analytics platforms, spreadsheets, or SQL to diagnose performance issues and identify opportunities
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to implement SEO improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a test-and-learn mindset

Preferred

  • Experience executing programmatic SEO strategies at scale
  • Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) concepts and how AI-driven search experiences influence discovery
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to audit technical issues and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
  • Experience using AI tools or automated workflows to analyze search opportunities, generate insights, or improve SEO workflows
  • Experience working with large or complex eCommerce websites
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to advocate for SEO across cross-functional teams
