Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute earned media strategies across grooming, personal care, men’s & women’s lifestyle, health & wellness, and consumer media
  • Pitch stories, build journalist relationships, and secure consistent, high-quality press coverage
  • Identify and manage sponsored content opportunities on key platforms (e.g. relevant editorial and affiliate sites) when paid placement makes strategic sense
  • Track and report on PR performance (coverage quality, reach, share of voice, sentiment, etc.) and use insights to improve over time
  • Identify and collaborate with experts such as dermatologists, grooming specialists, wellness and lifestyle experts, and health professionals to build credibility
  • Develop expert-backed narratives and campaigns that reinforce trust in our products
  • Turn these partnerships into earned media—expert endorsement should generate stories, not just sit on a website
  • Identify and develop partnerships with nonprofit, charitable, and social impact organizations that align with our mission
  • Build relationships with relevant communities and third-party organizations to expand brand presence
  • Support cause-driven campaigns that reinforce brand purpose and generate earned coverage

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Public Relations, Communications, or Media Relations with proven success securing earned media coverage in North America
  • You’ve worked with consumer brands that understand culture—ideally in personal care, grooming, beauty, lifestyle, health, or DTC
  • You have experience building partnerships with experts, institutions, or nonprofits, not just pitching journalists
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills —you can craft a compelling pitch and represent a brand professionally
  • You’re organized, proactive , and able to manage multiple partnerships and projects at once
  • You’re passionate about personal care, wellness, or consumer brands that make everyday life better
