Responsibilities

• Own the messaging house. Build and maintain the master messaging framework - core narrative, value pillars, proof points, persona messaging, and competitive counter-positioning.
• Own the first call deck. The highest-leverage asset in the company. You own its narrative, its structure, and its evolution, iterating against real deal outcomes
• Own our event session content. Own the narrative arc, script, and build of Eve's keynote and event sessions, partnering with the presenter (often an exec) from outline to stage, and in some cases presenting yourself.
• Partner with the executive team. Work directly with the CEO, CPO, and product leadership as the person who sharpens how they tell the Eve story — in board decks, on stage, on podcasts, and in the field. You'll push back on language that's vague, internal, or undifferentiated.
• Make sure we sound different. Build a defensible, well-sourced point of view on how Eve wins against the legal AI landscape, and make sure that difference is legible in every asset. If our messaging could be lifted onto a competitor's site without anyone noticing, that's your problem to fix.
• Ground it in the market. Talk to customers, prospects, and reps constantly. Bring what you hear back into the messaging and into Product.
• Make the messaging travel. Partner with Enablement, Demand Gen, Content, and the broader PMM team so the framework shows up accurately in collateral, campaigns, training, and launches.

Requirements

• 7+ years in B2B SaaS or legal tech product marketing, with a track record of owning messaging and positioning for a core product or platform — not just contributing to it.
• An exceptional writer. You can take technical AI depth and turn it into something a busy plaintiff attorney understands in one pass. You care about the difference between a good sentence and a nearly-good one.
• Comfortable on stage and in front of executives. You can hold your own in a room with the CEO, and you can build a keynote that lands with a live audience.
• You think in frameworks — competitive messaging, category design, buyer psychology — and can explain not just what a product does, but why it wins.
• Genuinely curious about the market. You are willing to sit on ten sales calls and read analyst reports.
• A strong cross-functional partner who can hold one consistent story across Product, Sales, Events, and Marketing without becoming a bottleneck.
