Job Description

Lead external relations and PR strategy to protect and elevate the company’s reputation across media, stakeholders, and crisis scenarios.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including industry partners, community leaders, government entities, and media, ensuring consistent and effective communication in a complex, evolving landscape.
  • Develop and execute proactive media strategies; manage press inquiries and cultivate relationships with journalists. Craft clear, compelling narratives that position the company positively across traditional and digital media.
  • Support the development and execution of crisis communication plans, ensuring timely, accurate, and strategic responses that protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze policy, regulatory, and industry developments; provide insights and recommendations to support business strategy and stakeholder positioning.
  • Plan and implement integrated PR and communications campaigns, including media outreach, advertising coordination, and digital initiatives to drive visibility and engagement.
  • Manage external PR agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, quality execution, and effective budget and billing oversight.
  • Draft press releases, speeches, executive messaging, and internal communications aligned with corporate objectives and brand voice.
  • Support trade shows, conferences, and community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in public relations, public affairs, media relations, and communications campaign management.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders and navigate complex, fast-changing environments with sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and strategic messaging.
  • Experience supporting or managing crisis communications and sensitive issues.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
