Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute media buying strategies across media channels, including broadcast, cable, radio, print, and OOH, ensuring campaigns align with client goals.
  • Negotiate rates, placements, and value-added opportunities with media partners to maximize client return on investment (ROI). Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners to stay updated on market trends and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the 360 Media Planner and other cross-functional teams to ensure media buys are integrated and align with overall campaign strategies.
  • Monitor and track media performance data, optimizing placements based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign objectives.
  • Oversee media budgets, ensuring accuracy in billing, timely reconciliation with media partners and internal billing teams, and adherence to client budgets.
  • Prepare detailed post-buy analyses and reports, offering insights and strategic recommendations for future media campaigns.
  • Participate in meetings with industry vendors and assist in the development of POVs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in traditional media buying (TV, radio, print, OOH), with a proven ability to develop and execute successful media campaigns.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing competitive rates and added-value opportunities from media vendors.
  • Proficiency in media buying tools and software. SBMS/Freewheel experience required.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing relationships with both internal teams and external media partners.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and complex budgets simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail in managing media budgets, billing, and vendor contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex media strategies and performance results to clients and internal stakeholders.
