  • Build a scalable marketing engine across markets
  • Partner with Sales to convert campaigns into qualified opportunities
  • Own budgeting, performance analytics and ROI-driven optimization

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Budget — Build and execute Uplifter’s marketing strategy and annual plan across the U.S. and Canada. Manage the marketing budget, forecast spend and make investment decisions based on pipeline and ROI.
  • Demand Generation — Build the demand-generation engine across our club and association markets. Develop and launch campaigns, set digital priorities and work with our external agency to execute paid media and digital campaigns.
  • Events & Tradeshows — Run our events and tradeshow program from end to end, including event selection, sponsorships, budgets, pre-event campaigns, booth execution, sales coordination and post-event follow-up. Measure major events against pipeline, revenue and ROI.
  • Funnel, CRM & Attribution — Run the marketing funnel in the CRM, including lifecycle stages, lead routing, campaign attribution, data quality and conversion reporting. Build the dashboards and reporting needed to understand what is and isn’t working.
  • Sales Partnership — Work directly with Sales on ICPs, target accounts, messaging, campaigns and lead follow-up. Ensure marketing activity turns into qualified opportunities rather than simply generating leads.
  • Positioning & Enablement — Work with Product and Sales to develop positioning, product launches, customer stories, competitive messaging, landing pages and sales enablement materials.
  • Agency Management — Set priorities for our external marketing agency and other partners, get work shipped and hold external partners accountable for performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Reporting & Optimization — Report regularly to the CEO and leadership team on marketing spend, qualified pipeline, conversion and ROI. Use the data to determine where we invest more, change direction or stop spending.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of B2B SaaS, technology or similar growth marketing experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in demand generation, growth marketing or performance marketing.
  • You have personally built and executed campaigns, dashboards, funnel reporting and attribution — not simply managed teams or agencies responsible for doing the work.
  • Experience working closely with a direct sales organization and a strong understanding of how marketing translates into qualified pipeline.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, attribution and funnel reporting.
  • Commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to manage a budget and make investment decisions based on performance.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors or marketing partners while remaining hands-on yourself.
  • Experience running or supporting events and tradeshows.
  • Comfortable moving between strategy and execution and operating across multiple areas of marketing rather than within a narrow specialty.
  • Able to operate independently, move quickly and take ownership without a large internal marketing team.

Preferred

  • Experience with SMB, mid-market or vertical SaaS is an advantage.
  • Experience in sports technology, sports organizations or associations is an advantage, but not required.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid vacation and company holidays.
  • Significant autonomy and ownership of the marketing function.
  • Direct access to and collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Opportunity to help shape Uplifter’s U.S. growth strategy and build the marketing engine as the company scales.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities within a growing North American technology company.
