Job Summary

Own the global brand and creative marketing loop for Energizer battery brands, combining competitive intelligence, strategy, and creative production to drive brand health and sales across markets.

  • Own global brand positioning and consumer targeting with cross-functional alignment to drive visibility and revenue.
  • Lead end-to-end creative strategy and production, from research through asset delivery and agency reviews.
  • Shape social/digital and media collaboration to ensure consistent messaging and optimized engagement across channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an on-going understanding of batteries business via analysis through key tools. Understand competitive intelligence and changing marketplace dynamics for input into global strategies
  • Lead strategies for all brand positionings and consumer targets and how to translate into sales results
  • Lead global creative strategies and development - manage entire production process including research, development, reviews, production, editing, agency feedback and asset delivery
  • Shape and drive the social/digital strategy and execution to drive engagement
  • Partner with the Media Team to develop media briefs, ensure aligned upon media plans meet brand and creative objectives, develop strategic creative rotation recommendations, and execute media trafficking
  • Drive development and deployment of the Marketing Cycle plan for battery branded communications. The primary components for which this role is accountable include:
  • Set the overall communications strategy aligned with the brands’ strategies based on the company, consumer, competitive and marketplace dynamics
  • Lead development and execution of the 3-year communications cycle plan serving as the primary liaison to creative agencies including briefing, reviews, feedback and compliance with SOW.
  • Lead development of creative and messaging strategies, objectives and tactics.
  • Lead strategic analysis and research plans for Brand Health, Consumer Perceptions in conjunction with Consumer Insights Team to measure and track both creative and brand performance. Partner to gain additional insights into consumers, brands, competition, etc.

Requirements

  • 4-Year College degree with an emphasis on Business Administration or Marketing
  • Ability to influence senior management and support functions Globally
  • Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, team leadership and achieving results in alignment with stated company and business segment strategy
