Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing partnership marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Establish departmental and team priorities aligned with Direct-to-Consumer business objectives and long-term partnership growth strategies.
  • Develop and execute partnership marketing strategies and integrated campaigns that drive subscriber acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand impact.
  • Oversee a portfolio of global strategic partnerships, serving as the senior marketing lead and ensuring alignment between Disney priorities and partner objectives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape organizational priorities, allocate resources, manage workflows, and optimize team effectiveness.
  • Present partnership strategies, performance results, subscriber impact, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across programming, business development, sales, legal, technical account management, product, and marketing teams to deliver joint initiatives.
  • Develop partner growth plans grounded in analytics, establish performance goals, and maintain accountability for measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor partner performance, market shifts, campaign effectiveness, and emerging opportunities, using insights to optimize investment and impact.
  • Anticipate business, operational, and partner implications of decisions, and guide the team through changing priorities and ambiguity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in partnership marketing, strategic marketing, business development, or related functions within subscription-based, direct-to-consumer, media, streaming, entertainment, or consumer technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated success developing and leading partnership marketing strategies and integrated, cross-channel campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes, including subscriber acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand impact.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and align cross-functional partners, external stakeholders, and executive leaders within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Deep understanding of the OTT, SVOD, CTV, and digital media ecosystem, including consumer behavior, digital marketing channels, partner landscapes, industry trends, and emerging growth opportunities.
  • Strong track record of building and managing strategic partnerships, leading multiple concurrent initiatives, and operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate stakeholder relationships with diplomacy and tact.
  • Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to use data-driven insights to identify opportunities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and change with agility, adjusting strategy and team direction as priorities shift without losing momentum.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, Airtable, and project management and collaboration tools.

Preferred

  • Experience managing marketing programs across international markets, time zones, and global cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting subscriber growth strategies within streaming or Direct-to-Consumer businesses.
  • Experience with international marketing, co-marketing programs, or partner-funded marketing initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Media, Advertising, or a related field.
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
