Job Summary

Own the marketing intelligence strategy and analytics ecosystem, from data infrastructure and modeling to attribution, experimentation, and executive storytelling, while partnering with Marketing Managers to drive data-informed campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Intelligence Strategy: Define and lead ACS's approach to marketing intelligence.
  • Establish the data infrastructure, modeling capabilities, and analytical frameworks needed to understand audience behavior, predict outcomes, and guide investment decisions across the marketing portfolio.
  • Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Develop and maintain predictive models (e.g., propensity to join, renew, or engage; lifetime value; churn risk).
  • Create audience segmentation frameworks that inform proactive marketing strategy.
  • Attribution & Measurement: Design and own multi-touch attribution methodology across paid, owned, and earned channels, providing a clear, defensible view of what is driving acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Apply the attribution methodology to guide where investment will have the greatest impact.
  • Insight Generation & Executive Reporting: Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership, distinguishing correlation from causation and ensuring recommendations are grounded in sound methodology.
  • Partnership with Marketing Managers: Work in close, day-to-day partnership with the marketing team to ensure campaigns are built on data-informed targeting and segmentation, and that in-flight and post-campaign performance is measured rigorously and fed back into planning.
  • Data Infrastructure & Governance: Partner with IT and marketing operations to ensure CRM/AMS, marketing automation (Marketo), and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) are integrated, accurate, and structured to support advanced analysis.
  • Establish data quality standards and governance practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in analytics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative field strongly preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data science, ideally with meaningful exposure to marketing or membership/customer-growth contexts.
  • Demonstrated experience building predictive models (e.g., propensity, lifetime value (LTV), churn) and translating them into marketing action, not solely descriptive/historical reporting.
  • Strong command of multi-touch attribution methodologies and the tradeoffs between attribution models.
  • Advanced proficiency with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM/AMS platforms (e.g., Marketo) and how their data structures support advanced analysis.
  • Experience designing and interpreting A/B and multivariate tests with statistical rigor.
  • Ability to move fluidly between technical depth and executive-level storytelling.
  • Can communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical executive audiences.
  • Stays current on advances in marketing analytics, AI/ML, and measurement practice, and brings new capability into ACS deliberately and responsibly.

Benefits

  • Vacation, personal, and sick hours including 13 paid holidays per year
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Medical—comprehensive coverage through BlueCross BlueShield
  • Dental, Vision, and Prescription drug program
  • 403(b) Matching Program
